Bra Art Scrapbook
Design & Instructions by Pattie Donham, Host of Craft Studios

Not for the ordinary scrapbooker, this Bra Art Scrapbook is a daring corset shape, filled with pages of Women’s Wellness art bras!

Supplies:
Heavy Cardboard or Foam Board (2 pieces, 12” x 12”)
Silk Fabric of your choice (26” x 13”)
Handmade Scrapbook Paper by Provo Craft™
Krylon® Spray Adhesive (All-Purpose 7010)
Grommet Application Kit
8 –3/8” Brass Grommets
4 Brass Ring Binders
1 Yard of 1-1/2” Ribbon of your choice
Aleene’s® Clear Gel Tacky Glue
Marker
Hammer
Scissors
Pattern for Corset Shape

Steps for front and back covers:
1. Trace pattern onto cardboard and cut out back cover and two fronts.
2. Lay the three cut-out pieces onto fabric, trace around. Cut out fabric 1-inch larger around all sides of the traced lines.
3. Spray the wrong side of the fabric pieces with spray adhesive. Lay the cardboard cut-outs onto adhesive. Clip the curves with scissors, and pull the fabric over the cardboard to cover the edges.
4. Cut 1 yard of ribbon in half. Glue the end of the ribbons to the uncovered side of the two front covers, in the curved ‘waist’ of the corset. This will create a closure for the scrapbook.
5. Trace around covered pieces onto scrapbook paper. Cut 1/4” smaller than the tracing marks. Glue paper cut-outs to the uncovered side of the back and front covers. When gluing the paper onto the front covers, it will hide the glued ends of the ribbon.
6. Apply eight grommets where the pattern indicates, using a grommet application kit.
7. Assemble the front covers to the back cover, using four ring binders.
