Bride & Groom Tassel Ornaments
Design & Instructions by Pattie Donham, Host of Craft Studios

Supplies:
Bride & Groom Jolee’s Stickers
(Other character stickers may be used, such as: Christening Dress, Santa, White Tux, Evening Dress, Ballerina, Princess, Hula Dancer, etc.)
Felt (Match the color of the sticker, such as white for the bride, black for the groom)
Yarn or Adornaments™ Fibers for a 5-Inch Tassel
24 Gauge Wire
Tools:
5-Inch Cardboard Square, or
PattieWack™ FanTassel Tassel-Making Tool
Scissors
Wire Cutters
Hot Glue Gun, Hot Glue

Steps:
1. Create a tassel, by winding yarn on the 5-Inch cardboard, or the 5-Inch step of the Tassel Tool, until it is nice and full.
2. Cut 12 inches of yarn for a hanger. Slip the hanger underneath the wound yarn, and pull up to the top of the tassel. Tie in a tight knot.
3. If using a Tassel Tool, bind the neck of the tassel through the slit in the tool with wire. Then cut the loops of the bottom of the tassel. Gently pull the tassel from the tool, then tighten the wire around the neck of the tassel. Trim off the wire and bend the ends of the wire back into the tassel.
4. If using cardboard, pull the yarn off the cardboard and bind the yarn 1-inch from the top with wire. Then cut the loops in the bottom of the tassel.
5. Set aside the tassel. Trace around the character sticker, to create a pattern. Cut out the pattern from felt.
6. Peel the protective plastic from the back of the sticker, and place over the top of the tassel to adhere. Turn over. Glue the felt cout-out over the top of the tassel and glue along the edges.
7. Hang on a gift package, or use as a party decoration!

PattieWack Tip:
Tassel Ornaments can be for graduation, dance recitals, beach parties, baby showers, and any other event that you can find the character stickers for. A keepsake that will be treasured forever....
