Supplies:
1 Sheet of Clear PattieWack™Shrink Plastic
Fabric Purse
Chalklets™ by EK Success
1/2” Jump Rings
Decorative Silver Spacers
Large Needle
Decorative Elastic Thread or Fibers
Rubber Stamps:
“Retro-tude” by Sunday International
“Spiral” by Stampabilities
“Fleurs” by Inkadinkado
Tools:
Fine Sand Paper
Pencil
Scissors
Hole-Punch
Cotton Swabs
Heat Gun
Bamboo Skewer or Craft Stick
Needle-nose Pliers
Heat Resistant work surface
Steps:
1. Sand both shrink plastic. Sand both ways on each side. This will enable the chalk to adhere to the plastic when shrunk.
2. Lay sanded shrink plastic over doll pattern and trace with pencil.
3. Cut out all of the pieces, and punch holes where indicated.
4. Apply chalk to cut out pieces, using a cotton swab or the applicators provided in the Chalklets™kit.
5. Stamp a face on the doll head.
6. Shrink the doll head with a heat gun, holding in place on a heat resistant work surface such as a cutting board or tile.
7. Repeat stamping and shrinking each of the pieces.
8. Join the doll pieces with jump rings, and adding spacers at the shoulders and legs.
9. Loop decorative thread or fibers around 2 fingers several times for the desired amount need for hair. Tie the loops together with thread.
10. Sew the hair to the hole in the top of the doll, at the same time sewing it to a fabric purse.
11. Cut the loops of the hair to complete your dancing diva doll!
